Advancing new Canadian women in Technology (ANCWT)

The ANCWT program is currently seeking to fill a Student Volunteer position to assist with promotion marketing initiatives, related to the new second ANCWT cohort .Date: From December 15th 2018 to February 15th 2019 .

Advancing new Canadian women in Technology (ANCWT) is a bridging employment program for women's groups, such as new immigrants and Syrian refugees who have technical training (in engineering, technology, computer science and information technology) from outside Canada. The goal is to help them enter the Canadian job market, as fast as possible. The program is based at the Faculty of Engineering / University of Ottawa, and led by Dr. Sawsan Abdul-Majid.
