Post-Secondary Students
Our program for post-secondary students works to support women in taking full advantage of the world of opportunities available both during and after the completion of their studies. We organize events and activities to help students connect with professionals and other role models, provide information and support to enable women to make informed decisions, and offer skills development opportunities to help students prepare for and succeed in their chosen fields. Brown Bag Lunch SeriesStudent's personal and professional development can be greatly enhanced through networks and collaborations. The Brown Bag Lunch series is a chance to meet and talk with other women who are studying and working as scientists and engineers. In an informal setting, students are invited to learn about the experiences of others and to gain knowledge and skills which will help them succeed. Past sessions include:
Get Involved!Join a WiSE or CiSters group on-campus or get involved with another community organization. Join our Facebook community for post-secondary women in science and engineering. Become part of a community of women with similar interests and goals. Participants are encouraged to ask questions and to share ideas, experiences, plans and challenges.
