My job is never boring. There is always a challenge to work through.
There have been a few projects. Having been involved on the Global 7000/8000 project off and on since 2008, from the initial concept, to detail design and now to the test and verification phase. Can’t wait for this plane to fly!
I try to make a difference by listening – whether it’s an external customer voicing a concern or an internal department that is struggling with how something is done, getting people’s ideas on how we might be able to do things better, faster, stronger with repeatability and zero errors requires listening skills.
My dream is that we no longer talk about women in aerospace. Each person should be elevated based on their ability, and I hope that women will be considered in the greater aerospace community as equal contributors.
