WISE Ottawa Panel Discussion - Helping Ourselves & Helping Each Other on March 24th at uOttawa

TO STUDENTS (UNDERGRAD, GRAD & POSTDOCS)

Diversity and Inclusion for Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) – Helping Ourselves and Helping Each Other

March 24, 2020, 6:30-8:30 pm, uOttawa, Colonel-By (CBY), Rm A707

For WISE this is an exciting time - awareness about the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workforce is on the rise. Government, organizations and the media are rolling up their sleeves to tackle the issues, however, it is going to take time before we get to the point when we no longer have to have these discussions.  In the meantime, as public institutions and the private sector catch up, WISE need to know what we can do for ourselves and for others to live the lives we want, doing the work we want to do.

Join us for intimate discussions with three professional women who in their own, unique ways, work, live and play in the shifting arena of diversity and inclusion and who have a wealth of STEM, entrepreneurial, regulatory and personal experience for us to learn from.

This is a free event and we will be serving light refreshments.  Please RSVP to Ariadni Athanassiadis at [email protected].
